One-on-One Personal Training
Your first session starts with a conversation, your goals, injury and surgery history, how often you plan to train with me versus on your own, and your overall level of commitment. From there, we move into a movement assessment covering strength, mobility, and coordination. If you're training for a specific sport, we'll also assess the power, strength, and coordination specific to that sport. By the end of the session, you'll have a general game plan.
After that, you'll get a weekly email with your programming for the upcoming week, viewable about a week in advance, along with a reminder of your goals and the strategy behind them. Depending on where you're starting from, we'll either get moving quickly or build up over a few weeks to your working intensity, and intensity will keep increasing as you progress regardless. Programming happens in phases based on your goals and current fitness level, which might emphasize endurance, strength, power, or mobility at different points.
Sessions are typically 60 minutes. My recommendation is either two 60-minute sessions per week with 1 to 2 days of training on your own, or three 45-minute sessions per week with one additional day of training outside the gym. Longer sessions can be arranged on request.
Semi-Private Training
There are two ways to train semi-privately. The first lets you and a partner train together on the same workout. The second lets you train alongside a partner while following fully individual programming, a better fit if you want the personalization of one-on-one coaching but either want a training partner or need a more affordable option than solo sessions. This option costs a bit more than the first, since you're both getting individualized programming. For this option, you'll each come in separately first for your own movement assessment, and during sessions, I'll move between both of you to coach and correct, so you still get real coaching, just with slightly less individual attention than fully private training.
We'll land on a consistent weekly schedule together rather than rebooking week to week, and any changes need at least 48 hours notice. Packages are based on how many sessions per week you commit to, billed like a membership on the same date each month. Both participants' sessions are reserved and billed as agreed, even if one of you misses a session, unless we've talked through a change ahead of time.
Group Training
Also typically 60 minutes, though duration can be discussed. Bring your team or your group of friends, this works well either as sport-specific training if you're all trying to improve together for the same sport, or as general training-style sessions like HIIT, circuits, or CrossFit-style work. Tell me what your group's looking for and we'll build the schedule and programming around that.
Groups typically run 3 to 6 people, though I'm happy to talk through a specific request outside that range. Each person is billed individually at the start of the month for the number of sessions the whole group has agreed on, everyone needs to agree on the same count, even if someone can't make every session. Cost depends on group size and session frequency.
Assisted Stretching
Hands-on stretching to release tension, restore range of motion, and help you move and feel your best between sessions. Available in 60- or 30-minute sessions, with a discounted 60-minute introductory session for new clients at $70.
