Assisted Stretching in Denver
Sessions run 60 minutes or 30 minutes. I recommend 60, since tension in one area of the body is often connected to restriction elsewhere, and a full-body session catches that. 30 minutes works well if you're short on time, want a lower-cost option, or already know exactly where you're restricted and want to focus there specifically.
Your first session includes a conversation about your fitness, injury, and relevant medical history, followed by a short mobility assessment. I typically recommend once a week, though most clients see the best results coming in twice a week, you'll still see improvement at once a week, consistency is what makes it last. Most people feel noticeably better after a single session, but that relief fades without regular sessions.
After your first visit, I'll send you 4 to 6 mobility exercises to do at home between sessions. If your goal is lasting mobility and flexibility, this part matters just as much as the sessions themselves, stretching relieves tension, but it doesn't address what's causing it. That's why the at-home work includes some active mobility, occasionally with light weight, to actually strengthen your joints at end range so your body feels safe moving there, not just stretched there.
Mild soreness after your first couple sessions is normal as your body adjusts, it should ease up quickly and never feel debilitating. Drink plenty of water before and after your session, it supports recovery and helps keep your connective tissue pliable.
